Reset Sunday | What Comes Next

Tomorrow is a big day for dream.design.bloom.

For the first time, I’ll be revealing the covers for our 2027 planners.

I’ve never done a reveal like this before, and I am so nervous.

For such a long time, I've been working on the 2027 discbound planners. Now they're finished, I can finally start thinking about what comes next.  There have been pages to design and planners to put together. Yesterday I was finally able to share that the planners themselves are finished.

Tomorrow, you get to start seeing them.

With something this important happening tomorrow, you might think I would have spent today getting everything ready.

But I didn’t.

Today is Father’s Day here in Australia, so we spent the day with family. We had lunch with my in-laws and then visited my mum and dad in the afternoon.

It was a really nice way to spend the day.

Of course, there are still finishing touches to do before tomorrow. I’ll get those done, and everything will be ready when it needs to be.

But they didn’t need to be done today.

I think that’s something worth remembering when we look at our planners.

It’s very easy to see something important coming up and immediately start filling the days before it with everything we think needs to happen.

Sometimes it does need to happen.

Other times, it can wait.

Having something written in our planner doesn’t automatically make it the most important thing we could be doing that day. Plans can move when something else matters more.

That doesn’t mean the planning hasn’t worked.

In fact, I think sometimes it means it has.

I knew what needed to be done for tomorrow. I knew there was enough time to do it. That meant I could leave it where it was and enjoy Father’s Day with our family instead.

The planner was still doing its job.

It wasn’t telling me that I needed to spend Sunday working. It was showing me what could wait until later.

And now we get to what comes next.

Tomorrow, after months of working behind the scenes, I finally get to show you the first of our 2027 planner covers.

I’m still nervous.

But I’m also really excited that you finally get to see what I’ve been working on.

For today, though, I’m very happy that Father’s Day came first.
