How to Put Your dream.design.bloom Discbound Planner Together

A simple, guide for your first setup.

Entering the world of discbound planning can feel overwhelming at first. This quiet guide walks you through each step with clarity, helping you build a planner that feels crafted for your day. Each paragraph is short and intentional for easy reading.

Start Here

Begin by placing your covers onto the discs, creating the base of your planner.

Then press your pages into place and open to your first monthly spread.

Everything else can be explored as you go.

Choose Your Planner

Before beginning your setup, it can be helpful to understand the difference between the two 2026 discbound planner options in the dream.design.bloom system.

a. Monthly and Weekly Planner

If you selected this option, your pack includes

  • 2026 Discbound Monthly Dated Planner
  • 2026 Weekly Dated Extension Insert

Together, these create a full monthly and weekly discbound planner. This pack includes monthly overviews, weekly spreads, decorated notes pages, and coordinating blank pages for a guided, flow through your year.

b. Weekly Planner

If you selected this option, your setup includes

  • 2026 Discbound Weekly Dated Planner

This planner offers a simple weekly flow with monthly divider page at the start of a month and a  notes page at the end of a month. It creates an uninterrupted rhythm without monthly overview pages, ideal for planners who prefer clarity and minimal structure.

Add Extra Pages When Needed

Notes, Today, and Fold-out Today Inserts can be added wherever extra space is needed.

The discbound system allows every page to move or shift with the rhythm of your days.

Build Your Planner Base

1. Begin With Your Covers and Discs

Your dream.design.bloom discbound planner arrives with your 2026 pages already organised in order. Your first step is to attach your discs to the covers, creating a steady base before adding your full page pack.

Place your front cover face down and gently press each disc into the mushroom-cut slots along the spine. Repeat with the back cover so your planner forms a steady, balanced base. This gives you a firm structure to build from.

2. Add Your Pages

For the Complete Planner

Your full 2026 page pack arrives as one complete, intentionally arranged set. It includes your yearly overview, monthly dated layouts, weekly dated pages, decorated notes pages, and coordinating blank pages, all placed in the correct order from January to December.

Lift the entire stack and press it onto your discs, a few pages at a time.

There is nothing to separate or rearrange; each page is already prepared to flow naturally through your year.

For the Weekly-Only Planner

Your 2026 weekly-only page pack arrives as a simple, streamlined set. Each month begins with a monthly divider carrying the name of the month, followed by your weekly spreads and a notes page at the end.

Press the stack onto your discs a few pages at a time.

Your year will unfold in a clear, uninterrupted weekly rhythm.

3. How Your Planner Flows

For the Complete Planner

In the full 2026 Discbound Planner, each month forms its own small chapter. A monthly overview leads into your weekly spreads, framed by a coloured Notes Page at the beginning and a matching Blank Page at the end.

This structure creates a gentle rhythm of clarity and creative space throughout your year.

For the Weekly-Only Planner

If you selected the Weekly-Only Discbound Planner, your year still travels in monthly chapters. Each month begins with a simple monthly divider, a calm page carrying only the name of the month, followed by your weekly spreads. A Notes Page sits at the end of each month to hold lists, reflections, and reminders.

This layout offers a clear, uninterrupted weekly rhythm without monthly overview pages.

4. Using Your Inserts

If you bought the Notes or either of the Today Inserts, here is how each one can support your planning. To begin, you can keep these inserts at the back of your planner, then simply pull them out and place them wherever you need them.

Notes Inserts
Notes pages create space for lists, projects, ideas, and quiet moments of reflection. Many people keep them toward the back, but they can sit anywhere that feels most natural. With the discbound system, you can add, remove, or reorder these pages whenever your planning shifts.

Today and Fold -out Today Inserts
Today or foldout daily inserts are designed for the days that need more space and clarity. Add one to any week where you have extra tasks, events, or details to capture. They expand your layout without interrupting the gentle flow of your planner.

5. Finish With Your Accessories

Add your chosen accessories to support your planning rhythm.

Bookmarks, clips, pens, and sticker books can be used to mark your place, highlight what matters, and bring personality to your pages.

Each piece is designed to sit beautifully within your planner, adding both function and detail.

A Planner Designed to Grow With You

Your discbound system allows you to add, remove, and rearrange pages whenever life changes. There is no wrong way to build your planner. Begin with the essentials, then let your pages evolve with your routines.

If you ever feel unsure, start with these six steps and add one section at a time. Your planner will quietly take shape, crafted with purpose and made truly yours.
